Cannot log in!
I’m stuck in an infinite loop of trying to login. I typed in all my credentials correctly but it doesn’t allow me to go through. I’ve tried changing my network (Wi-Fi to LTE for example) and it doesn’t work. I saw a comment that says changing the language to Polish might help - didn’t work. PLEASE FIX THIS!

Switch to Polish interface to make the app work
For those who have problems with logging in — go to the phone settings, and change an app language from English to Polish. Then try to login in again. P.S. Customer support is a crap. Reply time is weeks, just recommend me not to use dark mode ☠️

First the app showed the wrong amount of money on my card. Now I’ve tried everything and I can’t log into the app. Yesterday I was trying to pay for my coffee with Starbucks card on my phone and nothing helped, I can’t even press the button “sign in”. Poor ux, poor quality of the app
The app logs the user out all the time. Sometimes it logs you out after a payment and you need to log in again. Tragic user experience. Also, layouts are not adapted to iPhone 14 pro max, buttons are small and not clickable.

Top menu very difficult to select. Sometimes it not work and i can’t reload money on my starbucks card. Not obvious how to use this app at all. Such a terrible application for such a well-known brand is a shame and a disgrace!

App all in all works ok. But in Poland I always get errors when I want to add my card to payment options. Also connections with PayU doesn’t work very good either. There’s an error 500. So it’s impossible to charge my card. Why won’t you allow Apple Pay or blik maybe?

This app is the worst - I have already created 3 accounts because everytime I try to log in I get a notification - your account is not Active - activate it through your e-mail - and I do not have any activation e-mail as I am just trying to log in - and whenever I try to do that it says that my account is not Active and there is No option to activate it - I am No heavy user but it pisses me off after a while of not using the app

Interfece looks outdated. Weird dropdown layer with payments, it took me some time to understand how it works but sometimes I still make mistakes 🙄 Adding cash to Starbucks account is a nightmare. Why can't I use simple methods like Apple Pay or Blik? I need to provide my card number 😕 and screen with card details doesnt support dark mode so I get white text on white background. Only thing cool about this app is that I get stars and better deals.

Compared to competition apps in Poland Starbucks' app feels straight from 2010
Everything is laggy, uncomfortable and unintuitive, logging you out whenever it wants to making whole UX absolutely terrible.
It feels like company does not want clients to use app, on the other hand Costa and Nero push their apps everywhere to encourage you to use them instead of traditional cards

Literally every single day it logs me out , which is frustrating.
Also it’s a bit slow and not really handy. I like Starbucks , I’ve been a loyal customer since 2017. Recently moved to Poland and continuing using Starbucks on a daily basis. However there are lots of things to improve comparing to other countries.

Communication
Starbucks team is unbelievable, they deleted my card, where I still had money, couldn’t renew it. After I asked for a new one, they wrote me in a two months and said that I can create new account, but I couldn’t and I never heard from support once again.

It's been months if not a full year or more since in app card stopped working. It's too big for a screen - picture and barcode are moved out of my screen edges, you cannot pay with it. I contacted Starbucks (not the shop, but on their socials) about this, they answered and nothing changed.
Its impossible to use it like this. What's the point of having an app if I have to carry my card with me anyway?

Room for improvement
I like this app and I think that it works just fine even though there were few questionable situations when baristas weren’t able to use my Starbucks card for no apparent reason.
There are some problems that impact my everyday usage of this app. I have to sign in one out of every three times I open this app and I can’t add my card as a payment method because the letters aren’t legible.
Those problems make my visits at Starbucks more troublesome and time consuming.

Cannot top up account
I have been using this application since 2019 constantly, however recently I am totally unable to top up my balance. The card has disappeared from the payment methods, although the last four digits are visible below the balance. When trying to add the card again I constantly receive 401 error (unauthorized). Please fix it, the app is unusable.

Serves its purpose, but needs improvements
The app works fine for what it was intended to do, but seems like nothing gets improved since it was first released. It’s annoying not being able to top up my account with Apple Pay. Moreover, the app is a bit sluggish, opens slowly, and signs you out on its own.

Barcode hidden
When i click “pay”, my card image flips to barcode, but the barcode does not appear in the center of screen, but to the left, so a half of it is hidden. It happens in iphone 12 pro max, but it works well in iphone pro. Is it to do with the size of screen? Please fix it.

Card cutted
Not all card shown and hidden out of the screen and/or has very stretched image of cover. But because of first thing it is not possible to use it, because 1/3 of barcode is out.

Annoying application
From time to time I got logged out from the application when I want to use it at the store.
Cannot top up my cart properly because of the problem with PayU system, when I input my card, digits are invisible so I am unable to do that.
Lately my application cashed data and showed me my wrong balance so I topped up my account with card (standard way, not with application) and then the screen was black. I was without internet. After connecting to 4G my card showed bigger balance, so cashed data was wrong.
Please correct the PayU system as it’s most annoying problem. Thank you.

Worst app on my phone
It’s so outdated it makes my 15yo dachs look like a puppy next to it. Barcode is clipped and unscannable. App logs me out every 12 hours or so. The navigation is atrocious. Costa app in comparison is on another planet. A much better planet. It’s unthinkable the app from a known brand looks and works like this in 2021.

Some wishes
In general app is working ok. Although it looks a bit outdated with all buttons on top (not very convenient with new phones). Also add please “apple pay” method if you insist on sending money on this card and pay from it, it will be more convenient. Or better just make it possible to pay as customer wish and then scan card once for stars, cause now I have to scan twice in your stores to first add money and then pay.

I agree with everyone above. It is not possible to pay through app because the card is cut on iPhone 12. You have to add it to wallet, which right now shows different amount of money on it that than the app
Also, as mentioned below the app is not usable because the buttons are almost out of the screen

The app is not compatible with iPhone 12 pro.
The view with reversed card has cut card numbers. Please do something with this, because now I am unable to Pay for coffee by app only with physical card.

Very buggy
The amount topped up does not refresh immediately after payment
The amount forces you to type with a white font against white background making the text impossible to read
It is impossible to add a new credit card via the app - tapping on card expiration date hides the keyboard (maybe sth else white on a white background is displayed there?)
And some UX nuances: it would be nice if a design of a physical card I got at a store was available as the one that can be displayed in the app

Error adding Wallet card
Hello, the application works well and fulfills its tasks in Poland. However, for certain time the account status in the added Starbucks card in the Wallet application in the iPhone is not refreshed. After removing the card and trying to add it again, the message "server error: 500" is displayed. Uninstalling the application and reinstalling did not help. Do you know when the service will work again?

Constant mandatory upgrades and georestriction
The app itself is fine when it doesn't completely lock itself, demanding an update. Thanks to geo restriction, it can only be updated if the phone is set to the local app store (Poland and maybe Czechoslovakia). This means that any travelers or expats who would use the app have to choose between Starbucks and all their home region benefits from Apple like music and other things as they would need to change their Apple ID region. Not customer centric like the original Starbucks ethos.

Issue with adding funds
The app works fine but when I try to add funds to my card, it uses incorrect currency and there’s no way (as far as I can tell) to change it.

Terrible app
Constant connection issues and errors preventing from using it. Leads to loosing rewards or being unable to pay from the app (while still having cash on it)
UX is also terrible. (Took me a while to figure out that to get back from the Pay screen you need to press Pay again. Bravo.)
Please pay yourselves a decent app developer since this looks like a bad intern job.

Can't sign in
Can't sign in. It tells to enter correct email/nickname or password. When I do so- same thing. When trying to use a nickname, it tells to enter correct email.
I can log in using the same credentials on the website, so I assume that the problem is with the app.
