PrEP is short for pre-exposure prophylaxis. PrEP works by stopping HIV from getting into your body and making copies of itself. You'll only be protected from HIV infection if there are high enough levels of PrEP in your body, so it's important to take it correctly.
Your data is stored on your device(s) only and not transmitted or shared with the app developer or third parties. Some analytical and crash data is collected, which is used to help improve the user experience, but this does not collect any medical information and is not identifiable to you. You can enable touch or face authentication for the app if your device supports it, within the settings page. You can delete your data from the device at any time when managing your PrEP plans.
