Great firmware update

Thank you for addressing slow connection/loading of the app. It’s blazing fast now to connect to JBL Flip 6.

I wish that audio feedback tones where also playing when using on device party boost button. Even I though I own one speaker I use it to turn on equalizer for audiobooks and turning it off (party boost on) for music.

App cant find boombox3 after first pairing. To change eq i need to factory reset speaker every time, then i can connect it to app, then it will disappear after 5 mins and cant be found again without reseting it to factory settings again.

Częściej się nią łączy, niż się łączy (iPhone 13 Pro, Boombox 3). Nie może być tak, żeby za prawie każdym razem, kiedy chce się sprawdzić poziom naładowania lub zmienić ustawienia korektora, rozłączać urządzenia, usuwać, ponownie parować… Słabo.

After two years of using JBL Puls 4 & App

The most annoying things to correct:

1. Speaker does not remember the brightness level - it's annoying, and with issue from point 2 it becomes very irritating;

2. It takes a too long time to connect the app to the speaker (>10s)

3. After the firmware upgrade behavior of the light compositions had irretrievably changed for the worse than it was when I decided to buy (it's not fair that you change my speaker without asking for approval)

This app is doesn’t work!

I thinks it’s been more than two years since I cannot connect any of my JBL devices though the app. I was using normally on my old iPhone then I switched on the new one and this app simply stopped working. Endlessly searching for the device when trying to connect. No idea what would one with it but, not cool.

I have two JBL charge 3 speakers, and ther is a problem when I’m using them in connect+ mode.

They seem to automatically connect in partyboost mode, even when I switch them to stereo mode.

When they are powered on again they are connecting in partyboost instead in stereo mode.

The app says that “Next time, play music on the Primary

speaker and enable PartyBoost on both

speakers for stereo without the app!”

Unfortunately this is not working properly.

JBL i Mackbook Pro M1

Oprogramowanie nie działa z Mackbook Pro M1. Czyli, żeby zmienić ustawienia głośników Flip 5 trzeba posiadać iPhona lub iPada. Bez oprogramowania można połączyć głośnik Flip 5 z Mackbookiem. Odtwarzanie muzyki działa. Sęk w tym, że połączenie z jednym głośnikiem Flip 5 pomimo, że działa to blokuje przycisk party do łączenia kolejnych głośników. Odpada opcja STEREO i wielu głośników MONO. Szkoda. Prawdopodobnie połączenie w stronę Mackbook -> Flip 5 wymusza łącznie BT AAC i to blokuje przycisk party. Gdyby dało się połączyć w stronę Flip5 -> Mackbook połączyło by się jako BT SBC i wszystko by działało jak należy. Sprawdzone z odtwarzaczem przenośnym, że gdy łączenie było w stronę Mackbook -> Odtwarzacz uzyskiwało BT AAC, a gdy w stronę Odtwarzacz -> Mackbook uzyskiwało BT SBC. Jednak same głośniki Flip 5 nie inicjują połączenia. Problem zapewne leży w systemie macOS (nie można wybrać w jakim trybie BT ma nastąpić połączenie) lub oprogramowaniu głośnika Flip 5. Może jakoś uda się to programistom rozwiązać, bo szkoda tracić możliwość stereofonicznego odtwarzania muzyki czy filmów z Mackbooka Pro przez głośniki JBL Flip 5.

Świetny głośnik, słaba aplikacja

Dla mnie aplikacja nie ma sensu.

Nie można z niej sterować głośnikiem, np. głośniej/ciszej (co by się przydało przy podłączeniu głośnika do domowego sprzętu audio), nie ma wskaźnika naładowania baterii.

Oprócz połączenia paru głośników w jeden system i ściągnięcia aktualizacji nie wnosi nic ciekawego.

Po marce spodziewałem się więcej…

The speaker stops playing out of the sudden. I suspect it's because some other device was paired and it interrupts the sound. It would be nice to be able to remove paired devices I no longer wish to connect to. But this app does nothing. Simply shows the battery gauge...

the speaker pairs without a problem, but the app can't discover the speaker and seems to be unaware of the ongoing connection.

I restarted bluetooth and reinstalled the app and still nothing happened. I'll adjust the rating once that is fixed.

i’m not only one, check the internet forums, who needs to connect flip 4 to Xtream. flip and xtream are perfect couple but we can’t connect it together :(. I’m sad and disappointed, why is that impossible?!

I have Xtreme. There is only option for renaming device and update soft. Far away from expectations! Should be at least:

1. Turn on/off annoying sounds on start/end of work.

2. Option for setting the PIN for pairing.

3. Equalizer.

4. Remote turn off.
